  • You’ll want to get some good luggage. Normally I bring one check on and one carry-on case. You can also use a backpack instead of the carry-on.
  • You’ll also want a good Power Strip WITHOUT a surge protector, but with USB ports. There aren’t a lot of plugs or ports in the cabin. Make sure it does not have a surge protector or it will be confiscated.
  • These bags are great for bringing home your dirty laundry. They save space in your luggage for souvenirs.
  • There usually aren’t clocks in the cabins, and plugs are at a premium so a battery powered clock is best.
  • If you are going on a snorkeling excursion and don’t want to use their gear, you’ll need your own equipment.
  • If you’re going to the beach you may want to protect and waterproof your phone with a phone pouch.
  • Luggage tag holders are handy. You don’t have to worry about your luggage tag falling off. These are for Carnival Cruise Line, but you can find them in different sizes. Try searching for your cruise line. Different lines have different size tags.
  • Lanyards are handy to carry your ship card around with you.
  • Water shoes are great for the beach. Sometimes the bottoms are rocky.
  • These floats are great, and small enough to take on a cruise for the beach.
  • Meclizine is the generic of Bonine and Less Drowsy Dramamine. Ginger and green apples also help with motion sickness. there’s also a patch.
  • These wristbands can also help with motion sickness.
  • It’s great to have an underwater camera when you snorkel. We’ve gotten some great pictures.
  • It’s a good idea to where a nice hat out in port. The sun is awfully hot and strong in the Caribbean.
  • Sunscreen is also very important.
  • Passport Holder with slot for vaccine card. These days this is probably essential.
