We booked our last cruise kind of late and didn’t want to park at Port Everglades because of the cost. We ended up going with Q&A Cruise Parking which was substantially a better price. But was it worth it? Here is our experience with them.

Getting there and parking
Q&A Parking was booked by us through CruiseParking.com, and the lot was located at 1137 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It’s very close to the port but wasn’t as easy to find. We finally found a parking lot at that address, it was very confusing to find, we had to turn around and come back. There was a van with a trailer leaving as we pulled in. We parked and my husband called the number on the email to try and figure out where to park, because all the signs said Pay Parking and that we’d be towed if we didn’t pay. Another couple was there and confused also. This was around 10 am. A third couple came and we were all trying to call and get help on where to park and when we’d be picked up. The ad shows a parking garage, but the attendant at that garage didn’t know anything about it. The people on the phone didn’t know anything.
So, we waited and waited. One of the ladies finally got the phone number of the shuttle driver, and he said he was stuck because the draw bridge was up. He finally came two hours after we had gotten there and started calling, he was in a white van with no company markings. Then he complained that we had not parked in the grassy area where we were supposed to. I told him that we had no one to tell us where to park, but his attitude was not good. We loaded our own luggage and parked our own cars. It’s really not a great area to park, back behind the regular parking garage with no security at all.
We did finally get to the port after noon, we had wanted to be there early, but at least we didn’t miss the ship. He didn’t tell us where to meet him or how to find him after the cruise, he just dropped us off and left. He did not get a tip.
Coming back after the cruise
I was really worried about getting back to our car in a timely manner after the cruise. We wanted to get going and head towards home early. We finally found the area where the shuttles picked up and waited. My husband got on the phone with the company again, but I saw a white van with a trailer pull in, so I asked if he dropped off at the Seabreeze Drive location and he nodded yes. We got our luggage loaded and got into the van and hoped it would take us back to where we started. It dropped people off at the Renaissance Hotel, but then it did go to Seabreeze drive and dropped us off, thankfully. The lot was crowded with cars, but we did manage to get our car out of the grass lot, and we headed home. Our car was fine, thankfully.
Would I recommend them?
Absolutely not! Customer service was horrible; no one knew what was going on. We worried about missing our cruise, we had already paid so we couldn’t just go somewhere else, and we didn’t know where to park without being towed, so we couldn’t just call an Uber. I would recommend Park n’ Go. We used Park n’ Go before, and we did see a number of Park n’ Go shuttles come in and out of the port while we were waiting for our shuttle after the cruise. I’ve noticed that Q&A has disabled the ability to leave reviews on their CruiseParking.com site, that should be a warning to all.
